Cleansing is the first step in achieving radiant perfectly balanced skin. Morning and evening, the cleansing process should be deep enough to rid the skin of impurities, yet gentle enough to leave the skin feeling soft. Remember as teenages we thought that tight squeeky clean feeling was good? Well, it wasn't! We were stripping our skin of its natural defenses leaving it vulnerable to dirt and a whole host of other bad things! Guinot's gentle cleansers contain plant extracts adapted to skin various types and needs.

TONERS
Why toners you ask?

Toning the skin is a very important step, which is often skipped. Our skin is naturally acidic ranging from a pH of 4.5 - 5.5. Applying a toner after cleansing brings the skin back to its proper pH. The skin is better able to protect itself from bacteria, pollution and other environmental aggressors. Many people complain that toners burn their skin. Guinot's toners do not burn because they don't contain harsh ingredients. Their pH balanced formulas soften without drying. The result: perfectly balanced skin!
